American McGee crafted two beautiful alice in wonderland games, American Mcgees Alice and Alice Madness Returns. In the process of wanting to create the newest installment, Alice Asylum, EA decided they did not want to fund the project or sell/give the rights to American Mcgee, essentially blocking the game from being made forever. This petition is to kindly ask that EA sell the rights to American Mcgee - whether we need to crowdfund for the rights or something else, I would like to bring to attention that so many people want new Alice games to be made, starting with Asylum.

This petition is to rally us together, and here is what we need to do: Find EA on every social media platform you have and tag them saying "We want Alice asylum! Sell the rights and we will crowdfund for them!" Do this everyday or every now and then, however much you want to. The goal is to be the squeaky wheel that gets the oil - if we keep bugging them about it, eventually they will get tired of us tagging them and have to do something about it! I think this is the most realistic way we can make alice asylum happen.

There are some concerns saying American McGee won't touch the game even if he gets the rights - and that's completely valid. I think the rights should be his even if he doesn't make Asylum, he can make plushies with it, asign someone else to make the game, or simply do nothing. He can reject the rights altogether. This is not to pressure him into doing something he doesn't want to do.

If this plan doesn't work we do have another option, and we will be getting Alice Asylum no matter what as long as we all help each other. @anrigveras on tiktok is making the game themselves using the design bible, so please go follow them and support them when they need it. Right now they are working on things they can do themselves, but eventually they will need help making the game a reality. They plan to release the game for free so that EA can't sue them as it is not something they will be monetizing.
