Chicago is an excellent sports town. We are lucky to have two baseball teams, an NFL team, an NHL team a NBA, WNBA team, as well as a plethora of other pro or semi-pro sports teams cross the Chicagoland area. It's no secret that we love to support our sports teams. Now, we're asking for them to support us in return. We'd like to encourage all sports teams to follow the Chicago Cubs' lead by making an "It Gets Better" video in support of gay, lesbian, bi, and transgendered youth. Not only will this make many of our sports teams the first in their league or association to make an "It Gets Better" video, it will also make us the first city to have all of our teams support the "It Gets Better" project. Let's tell the youth of Chicago, the surrounding suburbs, and the nation that it does "get better".
