We've managed to get media coverage on SAYS. Even though APU has not decided to reduce their prices futher, this is still a step in the right direction for APU to finally address student's concerns publicly.
One of the points that Gurpardeep said was "The cost of catering between this basic provision and full lunch buffet type meals is hugely different." Which is baffling, considering the fact that the website mentions Buffet Refreshments. We'll have to wait and see on their claim on the actual day. Even though we mentioned that we are aware of the RM110 reduction from previous years, we still felt that RM820 was too much for students. Yet, it seems like the management is treating this as the reduction of what we were asking for.
We are not discouraging graduates from attending this graduation to further this cause. It is your money and your once in a life time opportunity. To the current students and future graduates of APU, always keep this university well informed of any problems or thoughts to improve themselves. Know that the decision makers of APU are the top management, so send your emails and concerns directly to them.
