Postpone KCET, future can't be decided at the trigger of death

Postpone KCET, future can't be decided at the trigger of death

The Issue

The Covid 19 situation in Karnataka is pathetic. Having boomed to more than 4000 cases a day and about 80-90 deaths, conducting exams shouldn't even be a sane thought. When NEET and JEE have been postponed why can't the same be done to KCET. They can't even do the councilling untill NEET results are announced !!!! Moreover KCET is a 4 session, 2 day affair( 2 sessions per day) where after each session students will most likely be roaming in the campus  of the examination centre until the next session. If the students get infected then it would affect their preperation for JEE and NEET(which by the way is the only means of getting into MBBS). Their Hardwork over the past years of preparation will go down the drain. The irresponsibility of the authorities is pathetically insane. The hall tickets have been released saying that the exam would be conducted on 30 and 31 July and surprisingly, no body, not even the media(which claims to be covering the Covid 19 situation vry efficiently) seems to be bothered by it.
