Quick background:

Hope Florida was created by Casey DeSantis and sold to Floridians as a program to help people in need.

So why did $10 MILLION in taxpayer money from a Medicaid settlement go through the Hope Florida Foundation and end up being used for political purposes?

The grand jury found that the money was misappropriated as part of a “sophisticated scheme to fund political activities.”

Ashley Moody was Florida’s Attorney General. Her office handled the settlement, and the grand jury found that she knew about the $10 million going to Hope Florida and authorized her chief deputy to sign the agreement.

So what did Ashley Moody really know?

She stole $10 million from the most vulnerable kids.  It’s so wrong.  

Hope Florida was supposed to help Floridians in need, not funnel taxpayer money into politics.

Ashley Moody owes us answers.

And if she believes she deserves to represent Floridians in the United States Senate, then she should be willing to stand on a stage with Angie Nixon, debate her, and answer directly to the people of Florida about Hope Florida and her record.

No hiding behind ads. No avoiding the questions. Debate Angie.

Until Ashley Moody is willing to fully answer for her role in this, she has no business representing Floridians in the United States Senate.
