As many Junkies agree, Crime Junkie is something many of us look forward to every week. It has become a staple in our weeks and we have spread the amazing work done by Ashley Flowers to many family and friends of ours. The only downside is the AWFUL and SPORADIC inputs by Brit. It completely throws the pace off of the podcast and her inputs rarely ever push the narrative forward. All she can say is “Full. Body. Chills.” or make some wild speculations that have no merit. Even when Ashley proves her wrong, Brit never acknowledges it and usually just chimes in with an, “Okayyyyy, but..” I understand that they both try to write a framework for each episode but it’s is apparent that all the talent and work falls on Ashley. As a fan base that respects all the hard work Ashley puts in every single episode and even her outside ventures, it’s hard to see Brit just piggyback off that and bring the show down. It would be different if Brit could hold a competent conversation or even just not throw in distracting opinions. I know I’m not the only one that feels this way and I’ve tried my hardest to tolerate Brit but she’s has gotten more loud and distracting as the show has progressed. Please, for respect out of the countless hours Ashley Flowers puts into our favorite podcast, let’s remove Brit from the show.
