On September 29th A couple on the blue ridge park way near the folk art center had their dog off leash while they were having lunch on a known area to have bears in Asheville nc 

The dog started barking that the bear was nearby and ran over towards the bear Barkley loudly antagonizing it!! 

due to the barking the bear acted in defense towards the dog and the owners 

The bear attacked the owners while they tried getting their dog away from the bear who initially started the scene 

They are now searching for the bear to put it down 

this bear does not deserve to get put down!! It was in its home and they broke the leash laws leading to their dog running to the bear! It was completely avoidable 

charge these people with breaking the leash laws!! That bear has a death sentence due to their poor ownership!
