Stand up for the Botany View

As you know, a DA has been lodged with the Inner West Council fir a four storey apartment block right up against the Botany View Hotel on King St Newtown. In just two days, however, we’ve pulled 3000 signatures for a petition opposing DA # 201600565 - https://www.change.org/p/asher-richardson-keep-newtown-open We have also attracted the attention and support of the elected Inner West Council mayor, Darcy Byrne, and the Federal Member for Grayndler, Anthony Albanese. This is all great news. Having said that, this fight aint over. https://www.planningalerts.org.au/applications/854619 The above link allows you to lodge a written objection that is sent straight to Council. Your grievance must be seriously considered by the assessing offer when they make their final determination as to whether this development gets the green light. I urge you to take a moment and drop them a few polite but firm lines. I am told, and it's gold, that your words can have a mighty impact on the way things go. Get up, stand up. Yours Sincerely Paddy Cornwall
