Petition updateArkansas votes to decrease therapy for special needs children. Let me tell you why not.
IMPORTANT UPDATE - PLEASE READ! AR Rules and Regs Approved Medicaid Cap Today

The 90 minute cap has been approved through the Arkansas State Rules and Regulations Committee. The next step for approval is the AR legislature. Once the Arkansas legislature approves this the next step that will reduce our children's therapy is managed care - the worst thing that could happen for our special needs children. Do you think that your child should get a phone call from a nurse or social worker in exchange for even more reductions on therapy services? I certainly DON'T! Arkansas representatives cannot provide information that indicates positive outcomes for managed care of children needing special needs therapy. When asked, the only thing they can provide is the projected financial savings report provided by Stephens Inc.
It has come to my attention that every signature and every comment you all have posted on this petition has disgruntled those in favor of these changes who's email addresses are attached to this petition. The reason is because they receive an email notification EACH and EVERY TIME sign or comment. Please encourage your friends and family to join in on support for this important cause!
I have also provided tweets from both Charlie Collins (Arkansas Senator) and Nate Bell (State Representative) that show their level of insensitivity towards this cause and illustrate how they are all only focused the bottom dollar.
Please note - the video provided is on a slow loop setting so that you can read the content. Please remember their tweet comments next time you go to vote!
