Idaho State University, FIRE the "Italian Huntress," Sabrina Corgatelli.

The Issue

To the President of IDAHO STATE UNIVERSITY, Arthur C. Vailas;

We, the signers of this petition, request that a current employee of Idaho State University, Sabrina Corgatelli, the self proclaimed "Italian Huntress" proudly and defiantly touted to news outlets, be removed immediately as an employee of your esteemed institution.

We do not deny that Ms. Corgatelli has the right to engage in the obvious love and passion for her hobbies outside of her work, however, as an employee of a university that receives state and federal funds, the fact that she engages in provocative behavior by taunting a large segment of the international community that opposes the egregious and unnecessary hunting, killing and public display of exotic animals that she boasts as her victims is unacceptable.  In the current climate of violence perpetrated at educational facilities, this risks all students, faculty and employees of Idaho State university in the possible retribution against the callous remarks and continued exposure to media of your employee.

We cannot ask you to terminate her employment on moral and ethical grounds alone, but can strongly urge you to consider the feelings and desires of the international community that has made their wishes more than clear in the past week.  We urge you to show the community, the students and their families, the faculty and their families, and the employees of Idaho State University that you consider their safety and feelings as well as the behavior of your employees and how you deal with it a top priority.
