I'm not surprised by this outcome. When I filed the matter it was the equivalent of a 'Hail Mary' pass into the end zone.
Did I make the sitting Conservatives nervous when I filed it? Maybe.
Do I think the judiciary is dangerously naive about the amount of power given over to the AG? Most definitely.
Am I going to waste more of my time on this matter? Not likely.
One of the reasons the matter was thrown out was because of a lack of public interest on the matter. There was no public outcry, only lone voices calling from the wilderness against the rising tide of Nazism sweeping through Canada and the rest of the world.
This will be the final post for this petition. I'll leave you with this quote from Galatians 3:10-11, which seems appropriate given the subject matter.
"For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.” Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.”"
This applies to now just as it did back then. The courts are under an obligation to protect the status quo and not go against precedence. In this they operate under a curse, forced to do what 'The Law' says, even when morality and common sense say otherwise.
In short, it seems our judicial system has been corrupted and broken and nothing with fix it short of a complete reset.
Will that ever happen? Have faith and maybe it will. We might not like the shape that change takes, but I'll put my faith in God long before I'll put my faith in any man-made institution that claims authority on this Earth.
