Petition updateArrest Harper for Inciting Genocide against PalestineFiling with a Justice of the Peace

So, a lawyer friend of mine informed me recently that I could have gone a different route with the original charges I'd filed against Stephen Harper and John Baird. I'd initially filed them (along with a USB stick containing the video) with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary in Corner Brook, NL. They passed them along to the RCMP who apparently considered the issue a threat to national security (getting me flagged) and resulting in the charges being dismissed. Instead of filing a charter challenge against the rule of law violating consent codes that populate Canada's anti-genocide law, I could have filed a private information with a Justice of the Peace using the same information. This would have effectively circumvented the police as an institution by delivering the evidence directly into the hands of the court. The attorney general could have still intervened, but the issue wouldn't have been as easy to dismiss. That option is still available for anyone else in Canada who believes that our ex-Prime Minister and ex-Foreign Affairs Minister are both directly implicated in the incitement towards war and genocide that lead to the Gaza War during the Summer of 2014. A number of people in different jurisdictions attempted to re-file the original charges with the RCMP but were rejected. If a number of courts across the country were made aware of the situation by filing the information with a Justice of the Peace in different regions, it would have been much harder to simply dismiss. What should be noted in all this is that while Palestine has engaged the International Criminal Court to investigate war crimes and crimes against humanity that occurred during the 2014 war, Israel does not acknowledge the jurisdiction of the ICC. Canada, on the other hand, is a signing, ratifying state party. It can indirectly pull Israel into prosecution if it's former head of state were to be found guilty of incitement towards genocide.
