Notre But

- On veut que le gouvernment du Québec sâche combien de leurs constituants ne supportent PAS un COUVRE-FEU

-Pas de protestations, pas de révolution violent, pas d'ultimatum aggressif.... juste une déclaraton hônnete qu'on est absolument, positivement FINIT avec le couvre-feu.

- Tandis qu'on reconnait que le Covid-19 est dangereux et que des guides de santé  sont nécéssaires, on croit que la meilleure personne pour decider quand c'est sécuritaire de sortir de la maison est NOUS MÊMES. 

- Si on détermine que la MAJORITÉ de la population ne supporte PAS un couvre-feu, on demande au gouvernment de mettre fin au couvre-feu dès que possible. Comme aujourd'hui.

- Voilà comment une démocratie est supposé de fonctionner -- si on n'est pas d'accord avec un mesure extrême du gouvernment, c'est a NOUS d'éxprimer notre opinion.

Pourquoi Cette Pétition Est Nécéssaire

- Parce que même si le Covid-19 est dangereux, perdre la liberté de mouvement est aussi dangereux.

- Parce que c'est passé temps de laisser les personnes décider eux-mêmes quand c'est sécuritaire de sorter de la maison. 

-Parce que le gouvernement a implementé une mesure extrême -- un couvre-feu à 20:00h -- sans jamais demander au population. 

Prochaines Étapes

-SVP partagez cette pétition avec votre réseau. 

-Si les résultats indiquent qu'une majorité siginficatif sont contre l'idee d'un couvre-feu, on demanderai au gouvernment de commencer des étapes pour mettre fin au couvre-feu aussitôt que possible.

Our Goal

- We want the government of Quebec to know how many of their constituents DO NOT support a curfew for Covid-19.

- No mass protests, no violent revolution, no aggressive ultimatum... just an honest declaration that we are absolutely, positively DONE with the curfew.

-While we acknowledge that Covid-19 is dangerous and that safety guidelines are important during this difficult time, we believe that the best person to decide when it is safe to leave the house is OURSELVES. 

-If it turns out that a MAJORITY of the Quebec population DOES NOT support a curfew, we call on the government to END THE CURFEW as soon as physically possible. Like RIGHT NOW would be great.

- This is how a democracy is supposed to work -- if you disagree with a government measure, what else can you do BUT voice your opinion?? 

Why This Is Necessary

- Because while Covid-19 is dangerous, so is losing our freedom of movement.

- Because it's time to let people decide for themselves when it's safe to leave the house.

- Because the government has failed to convince me that a curfew is necessary given the current level of danger.

- Because the Quebec government implemented an extreme measure --- an 8pm curfew --- without ever consulting  the voters (or if they did, they never asked ME)

- Because if we the people don't speak up for what we want, it's looking like the government will have us in lockdown until infinity and beyond

-Because democracy matters -- if a majority of the population does not support an extreme government initiative, it is up to the population to hold that government accountable. 

Next Steps

-Please share this petition with as many people as possible

-If the results indicate in any significant way that a majority of the population is against the idea of a curfew, we would ask (nicely) that the government begin steps to end the curfew as soon as possible.
