In February 2015, I visited my sister Carly's house in Canberra where she was living with her partner Nathan, (He his the hero of this story). During one of my afternoons I had the oh-so-common '4pm sugar craving' that we all experience from time to time and proceeded to raid her pantry for my favourite snack; a humble, plain simple bickie.   I've always been a fan of the plain and simple bickie. I'd take an Arnott's milk arrowroot, malt-o-milk or teddy bear biscuit over a fancy chocolate extravaganza any day! Bless Arnott's, they have given me 26 years (give or take) of delightful cookies to enjoy. This summer afternoon however I found myself reaching for an Arnott's package that was completely unfamiliar to me, "What are YoYos?" I asked.    The answer: A DELICIOUS plain perfect biscuit that... wait for it... is only sold in South Australia. I have always praised Arnott's until now, It appears I have been living in the dark, unaware of just how much Arnott's were [choosing] to deprive New South Welshman! Nathan (the hero of this story) has family in South Australia, and I have reduced him to a smuggler. Sneaking packets of YoYo's across NSW borders each trip home to ensure my favourite biscuit supply remains stocked. (bless him) Arnott's, My dear biscuit making friends, I know I'm but one mere person...who are you to care about my yoyo supply. I realise it's been a Rough year for you Arnott's, with a certain geometric designed savoury biscuit and its controversial "new flavour". But I stuck by you Arnott's... You are the true blue simple bikkie... Give your fans what they want... Bring yoyos to nsw. I have written to Arnott's now on multiple occasions, it seems they found my 'mission;' somewhat amusing. According to an Arnott's Spokesman: "Unfortunately Yo Yos don't quite have the reputation in NSW, having originated in South Australia. There aren't any plans to make YoYos available in NSW at present but perhaps you could create enough interest with your hashtag to change our minds" CHALLENGE ACCEPTED - Join the petition to bring Arnott's yoyos to NSW! #bringyoyostonsw
