ARLINGTON VILLAGE APARTMENTS !!!

Arlington isd has converted wimbish elementary school into an academy transferring  our kids to speer Elementary, the distance from Arlington village apartments to wimbish is 13 min, 0.7 mile our kids now have to walk 28 min, 1.4miles, cross very dangerous traffic with no crossing guard. Our high school kids have to walk 2.1 of a mile a 42 min distance, cross over Hwy 30.  Some of us parents dont have the means to get our children to school or we have to be at work early,  we are on a fixed or low income we can not afford to pay for transportation. We are left to struggle upon this change. Winter is around the corner, our kids will have to walk 28 and 42 minutes in the rain in the cold weather. We have contacted the aisd, transportation, City of Arlington, speer Elementary and absolutely nothing has been done. We are demanding aisd, transportation to change this immediately Arlington village apartments 408 N Fielder rd Arlington TX 76012 needs school buses immediately. Transportation confirmed there is a bus stop for Lamar, apparently kids on our property are put on a waiting list since others who live more than 2 miles away have the priority. We live 2.1 miles away. According to transportation the state measures distance from the schools  flag pole to the apartments complex first entrance making it less than 2 miles.
