Yesterday's hearing before the Conservation Commission went as expected. The developer requested a continuance. A follow-up hearing will be held next week. The Con Comm said they visited the site the morning of 7/14 and that they redefined the wetlands boundary, pulling it further inland. As a result, Seaver's current development plan further intrudes into the buffer zones. The Con Comm also asked the developer to research flood plain related issues likely due to information about the 2010 flood waters and their reach into the back yard at 47 Spy Pond Lane. The developer is expected to revise his plans and present them at Con Comm on July 21 at 8:30 pm. It is very important that as many of us as possible attend this next meeting. The Con Comm meeting starts at 7:30 pm. The hearing on 47 Spy Pond Lane begins at 8:30 pm so please plan to be at the meeting by that time. The meeting will be held at Town Hall, 730 Massachusetts Avenue.
