Marese  Spector is  my lively,  good natured, active, very, good friend of decades. She Has been kidnapped.   She left her beautiful home in Tel Aviv and all of us to be near her only daughter in Scottsdale, Arizona .  She could not have taken a more  mistaken and disastrous decision in her life.

About two years ago, Shortly before being kidnapped by her daughter, she was dissuaded by  an Arizona court judge to file complaint against the abuse by her daughter, who had been constantly harassing her. Marese complied but behind her back her daughter,  Arlene Ardi, continued  diabolically planning  complete control over her mother, physically, and financially.  Marese is a very wealthy woman who during the last years has made enormous gifts to her daughter .  But it seems Arlene wants it all NOW.

We know that only ONE day after Arlene illegally obtained guardianship, under false pretensions  and undocumented evidence in  ABSTENTIA  of her mother, Marese was seen to being forcefully pushed in a vehicle and abducted.  For almost a year NOBODY KNEW where she was.  Marese used to be in contact with us on a regular basis, we were very worried.  All inquiries by friends and neighbors were fruitless.  Friends who were trying to find Marese were inredibly served a restraining order!!!

Finally with the help of the British consulate in Arizona  we succeeded.  The officer of the court Mr. Robinson who was supposed to have Marese’s best interest at heart (he resigned in the meanwhile and is replaced by Ms Tracy Leonard Attorney at Law) reluctantly gave out Marese’s whereabouts : Amber Creek Institute, in Arizona. Rachel Bar and I Lea Ressler, called, but to our astonishment and great dimay we were told that Arlene had given specific orders to the staff in Amber Creek forbidding Marese to receive or make calls.  (Arlene had confiscated her mother’s phone) Marese was to be kept in total isolation, NO visitors, NO calls, NO mail.  Marese was even CONSTANTLY prevented from communicating  with private caregivers of patients in the institute.

What  was  Arlene preventing Marese to devulge?  Melannie  Johnston, one  of the private caregivers  of one of the patients in the Institute, who realized Marese did not belong in the institute, was nearly fired when caught letting Marese use her phone!  In this phone call Marese begged her friend Rachel Bar in Tel Aviv not to give up on her and take all necessary steps to free her from the Institute.

Melannie Johnston was also interviewed on Fox News concerning elderly abuse and exploitation by family members and institutes.

From this time onward any legal help we were trying to invoke did not help.  Why.?… Because any attempt by attorney at law Mr. Josh Mozell to file a request to 1. let Us communicate with Marese, and 2. Allow Marese to return to her own home were made Impossible.  

the Honourable Judge Andrew, point blank reiterated that like in the previous proceedings he refused to let Marese testify.   He dismissed the case WITHOUT the presence and/or evidence by Marese herself at the hearing.  The reason for this being the absurd statement given by Arlene, the loving caring daughter, that being in court would hurt Marese’s well being!  Also Arlene lied that her mother was ill. This was absolutely incorrect.  Marese had not even been ill one day during  the last 2 years.

 About 6 weeks before her disappearance Marese  visited us in Tel Aviv.

Upon hearing that Marese was institutionalised,  6 ladies, friends of Marese, including Rachel Bar and myself Lea Ressler, sent duely notarized affidavits to be presented to the court about Marese’s physical, mental and cognitive state of health.  True we are not medical professionals but we saw Marese fully active, traveling, driving, playing cards hosting friends at home etc. helped by a housekeeper.  Our evidence was totally ignored!  No evidence in her defense was ever presented.  Undocumented, false slanderous rumors spread by Arlene seem not to have been ignored.  

“Something is very wrong in the kingdom of Denmark.”  Marese is still not allowed to communicate with any one except of the “magnanimous”  permission by the judge that she is allowed to speak to Arlene and Arlene’s attorney.  If this were not so terribly sad it would be a preposterous joke.

In the meanwhile, Arlene getting worried that actions might  be taken to try to remove Marese from her conservator ship/guardianship surreptiosly and illegally removed Marese from Amber Creek in Chandell.  This we discovered by chance.  It seems Arlene was complaining that she had no money !! and also that her mother would be nearer.  Arlene hardly ever  visits her mother.  The new Institute Copper Creek In Chandall is in fact 22 miles further away. 

I am appalled and completely distraught.  This is absolutely nothing in comparison to the nightmare Arlene is putting her mother through.  Marese fully comprehends what her daughter is doing.  She has been imprisoned and the key has been thrown away by  the diabolical manipulation of her only daughter.   Marese is being buried alive.  How can this happen be allowed to happen.  It is clear to Marese  what her daughter has been trying to accomplish, in fact Arlene has completely and maliciously taken control of her mother, of her liberty, all her asserts, all her bank accounts.  Arlene has  cruelly taken away her mother’s greatest pleasure and her biggest joy,  which is talking  and meeting with friends daily as much as possible.  I have  rarely seen a person who has so many large circles of so many friends.  Now  Marese has lost everything.  She is in a living hell, lonely,  completely alone,   Arlene could not have found a more monstrous way to harm her mother’s well being.  

I can not fathom the despair Marese must feel seeing no way out of this living hell.  Having no hope, no one to talk or no one to share thoughts and experiences with.  

Why is Marese being punished.  What crime did she commit.  I implore for any one, of course including the people I mentioned in the beginning of this petition to make it possible for her to contact her friends and to restore to Marese her life and let her enjoy her golden years in her own home before it is too late.
