In the state of Arizona hedgehogs are in fact legal. But, the requirements to own one are so strict and high that many prestigious zoos can’t even meet them. These creatures are harmless, and are fantastic family pets. In fact hedgehogs are the equivalent of a hamster or gerbil. They are easy to maintain, very rare do they bite and they can be held in your hands. Hedgehogs are Nature’s “Cuddly Cactus”

This is simply unacceptable as they are teasing those who want a pet hedgehog by making it "Legal", but at the same time making it virtually impossible to acquire the license to own one! Please sign this petition for hope that some time in the future, people in Arizona can own these amazing animals
