I have a bunch of updates/news, so will work backwards. Of the utmost importance - our hearing is taking place next Tuesday, Sept. 25 at the Arizona Corporation Commission (1200 W. Washington) and begins at 10 a.m.! It is IMPERATIVE that we have as many people there as possible for public comments, which will be heard prior to our expert and the others. We will be holding a press conference before the hearing at 9 a.m. if you can join us for that as well. All details can be found HERE, and please invite every unhappy APS customer you know. This isn't going to work without ALL OF YOU!
Staff tried to get the hearing date moved (AGAIN) and we had a pre hearing conference this morning where it was discussed. Thankfully the hearing date was kept (as I desperately need to get back to my already hectic life) as it has been 10 months since I started this petition. You can watch that HERE if interested.
If you're one of the 6000+ people who has signed this petition but hasn't donated to the legal fund, IT'S TIME. You can either kick in $10 or more NOW, or forever hold your peace. We're fighting a multi-billion dollar utility monopoly and this costs money that I don't personally have (though I've had to personally come out of pocket with more time and money than I care to admit - and cannot afford). HERE IS THE LEGAL FUND - PLEASE DONATE TODAY AND SHARE IT WITH EVERYONE YOU KNOW. Only signing the petition without donating, sharing and/or showing up isn't going to get us what we need - a full rate hike rehearing.
If you have not filed a complaint against APS and how you're being impacted by the rate hike into our docket (as well as stated your support for a full rate hike rehearing) please do so before next Tuesday! Here is our Docket # E-01345A-18-0002 and you can also read through things that have been filed. Please be sure to reference that specific Docket number when making your APS complaint with the Arizona Corporation Commission. We can only topple Goliath together, people! I'm one woman and need everyone's help! Please show up on Sept. 25th to #StopTheAPSGreed, donate to the legal fund, and send a clear message to our elected officials that they're public servants - not APS puppets.
