Hello everyone! Our first Procedural Hearing at the ACC yesterday was very interesting. The good news for now is that our complaint was not dismissed. You can watch the hearing here: http://azcc.granicus.com/MediaPlayer.php?view_id=3&clip_id=2966 Wong and Carter attorney Adam Stafford did an excellent job, and we're still pushing forward for me to be named as the Representative for our group (class). We also are going to need to ramp up the legal fund pronto, as we're going to need to hire an expert to crunch numbers, etc. LEGAL FUND: https://www.fundedjustice.com/StopTheAPSGreed With that said, I have a new ask of everyone. You can view up to 24 months of bills on the APS website under your account. I am requesting October and November of 2016 AND 2017, as well as February 2017 AND February 2018. These bills can be downloaded as pdf's. What I need will only be possible if you've lived in your home/apartment for at least a full year plus (same residence) so we can compare apples to apples. All I need is page 3 of each bill which has the breakdown of charges plus energy usage, etc. You are free to redact your personal info (except for either name/meter number or some way for us to know whose bill we're looking at). Please email these to me as pdf's (if possible) ASAP to: sc@champion-pr.com Ryan Randazzo with the Arizona Republic wrote an article about yesterday's hearing which you can read here: http://bit.ly/RandazzoArticle Another interesting story broke today about APS/Pinnacle West and their dark money spending, etc. which you can read here: http://bit.ly/APSDarkMoney It truly is time for us to vote out these Commissioners who are doing the bidding of the utility monopolies instead of looking out for us customers, but that's the next battle... You are still welcome to call/email the Arizona Corporation Commission to make a public statement making sure it's placed under Docket No. E-01345A-18-0002. I have a feeling that some folks have been calling and their complaints are being logged into the original rate case docket instead of ours. Please contribute what you can afford to the legal fund TODAY! We all need to chip in to make this happen. $10 spent now could save us all a ton come this summer... Onward and let's topple Goliath!
