Since 2006, young DREAMers who grew up in Arizona have been locked out of Higher Education. I am delighted to report that today the Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) announced that DREAMers with DACA can pay in-state tuition at any public university in Arizona (effective immediately)! For details, see: http://azdailysun.com/news/local/regents-set-in-state-tuition-for-dreamers-immediately/article_508894e8-de85-5472-9013-827f6a859f14.html This is a HUGE triumph for justice in our state! Granted, we still have much work to do to turn Arizona into the compassionate state that we believe in. For now, let us celebrate this decision. Thank you all for supporting the DREAMers--young people who have grown up in Arizona, people who want and value education! Again, thank you all for your support and congratulations to DREAMers and dreamers, in other words, all of us. Today is a new day for Arizona! #in-stateislegal Sincerely, Robert Neustadt
