UNISON is launching this petition to prevent the closure of Knapdale Ward a Dementia Assessment Ward at the Mid Argyll Community Hospital & Integrated Care Centre in Lochgilphead. There are currently ongoing proposals regarding the future of our dementia services within Argyll & Bute, services which are vital in an area with an aging population. Please support us in raising awareness of the need for these essential services and to help prevent the possible closure of Knapdale Ward and to ensure it is maintained as a crucial resource for our communities by signing our petition.

This will be submitted to Argyll & Bute Health & Social Care Partnership.
