"Kashi" has the most special place in Indian mythology, culture, spiritualism, knowledge and religion.It is the original name of Varanasi or Banaras. "Kashi"  comes from the sanskrit word 'Kash", meaning light or knowledge. Kashi ,the city of knowledge or city of light. Since ancient time it has been a seat of knowledge and education, enlightenment and spiritualism, culture and music. Its name was changed to Varanasi, Benares, and Banaras, that does not relate to its true history and cultural importance. It must be changed to Kashi again.
