Today, all members of the cheerleading squad received an email that they would not be allowed to attend senior celebration due to the fact that they "came in contact" with someone who tested positive. We recently traveled to Orlando to compete at the national championship. We did not go to any parks, restaurants, and wore our masks the whole time. Each grade stayed in their own house, separate from the JV squad, to ensure that we were as safe as possible. All senior cheerleaders have already sat through the 4 day quarantine period and can provide a negative test. No one has directly come in contact with the person who tested positive. No one has symptoms. Us 7 seniors are asking your help. we are willing to pay for a rapid day test on the day of the event (Saturday) in order to prove that we do not have COVID. This event also requires all of us to wear face masks, have temperature checks, and fill out a health form. 

It is the day before the event. we all have our dresses, hair and makeup appointments, and were extremely excited to go. This is the only in-person event planned for seniors this year before graduation. We are asking that you please sign and help us celebrate with our class. We have dedicated so much to this school, bringing 4 state championships and 3 top 5 finishes at the national championship.
