The deprivation of Catholics from the Mass and the Sacraments, especially the Eucharist, is simply not justified. Particularly during this trying time the Sacraments are essential for spiritual and the psychological health that goes hand in hand with physical health. It is not merely a burden . It is an oppression. And seeing what remain open like pot stores stretches reason. Services can be arranged which comply with "social distancing".  Small services. Drive in services as some have suggested. Parishioners stay in their cars. Just allow the Church a little creativity in the interest of sanity and souls! If Mass can be stopped for one crisis it can be readily stopped again for another and with a pattern established such that people are isolated from the essence of their faith. I am a Catholic. My faith is life itself. I do not think that I am alone.
