The petition is almost at 2000 supporters! Thank you all so much for your support in the effort to keep St.Matthias Parish open! I have contacted some people from NBC and they might do a story on the community trying to keep St.matthias open. I also have been in contact with some people in the archdiocese and they have been reading though all your comments. If you have anything you'd like to say to the Archdiocese, please comment it in the "Reasons to Sign" section. Also, St.Matthias Alumni and #5 on the Lakers, Talen Horton-Tucker has also signed the petition!
Other than that, please show your support of St.Matthias by filling the pews. There is church Sat. @ 5:00, Sun. @ 8:00, 10:30 , 4:00 and weekdays @ 8:00.
Attendance is one of things the Archdiocese looks at.
