Father Clay Hunt has touched many lives through his many ministries and homilies. He has Shepard thousands of people in San Antonio and surrounding areas, and have touched the hearts and inspired many souls in our Catholic Faith. Some may know him as the “Cowboy Priest”, either from his cowboy boots or even his ride of choice, a Harley Davidson. But a true Man of God he is and embodies so much of Jesus and His love for us.

It is with this knowledge that many have found it unfathomable for the Archdiocese of San Antonio to strip away all of Father Clay’s Public Facilities. (See below)

This petition, is to serve as official notice for the Archdiocese of San Antonio, that we, your Flock, will not stand for this injustice to Father Clay Hunt. You have directly affected his ability to live out his Holy vocation and serve the good people of San Antonio and South Texas.

With the signing of this petition, either Online or in person, (with your Name or if you remain anonymous, the name of your registered parish) you agree to show your support for:

• Reinstating Father Clay Hunt’s full faculties;

• Your disapproval of the Archbishop’ and Auxiliary Bishops’ withholding of his ability to minister publicly (Masses, Funerals, Weddings, First Communions, Confessions);

•  Withholding of charitable donations directly to the Archdiocese (Please still support your parish by writing a check or specifically requesting your financial gift is used only to pay for the facilities ie. lights or AC/Heating and or specific ministries at the Church)
