Good afternoon everyone, I’d like to thank you for signing my petition to get the Catholic Church to apologise and properly compensate for the horrific sexual abuse of my daughter Stephanie, before she took her own life. For 23 years the Archbishop of Melbourne, Denis Hart and the leader of the Pallottines, Father Eugene San have tried to silence me. They’ve cruelly, knowingly denied Stephanie’s abuse. My grandson’s wife helped me with a video message for these men - urging them to apologise to me and compensate while I’m still alive to hear it. The church says they’ve “learned” and “changed” since this Royal Commission, but so long as they keep ignoring victims and their families like mine, they are hollow words that won’t be believed. The one to be believed is Stephanie.
