Decriminalize Nature is an educational campaign to inform individuals about the value of entheogenic plants and fungi and the intention to propose a resolution to decriminalize our relationship to nature.

Decriminalize Nature Humboldt is part of the larger movement Decriminalize Nature. This is a movement to decriminalize entheogenic plants and fungi. "Entheogenic plants” are naturally occurring psychedelic plants, such as psilocybin mushrooms, mescaline containing cactus, and the shamanic brew ayahuasca. Contrary to political messaging, the science shows these plants and fungi are not addictive - in fact, they help alleviate addiction, depression, and, when used with respect and care, can be deeply healing to individuals and communities and encourage personal and spiritual growth.

Decriminalization established the possession and use of entheogens as a low priority for law enforcement for those over the age of 21 years, and provides the community with the ability to grow, gift and gather entheogens. We would like to see this in Arcata, CA.
