Joshua Kartawinata started this petition to Arcadia High School

COVID-19 has changed the world and the lives of many individuals. This is especially true for students/families that are forced to adapt to online learning. These learning conditions provide more cons than pros, such as faulty internet, lack of interaction with students, along with increasing stress and anxiety. Despite this, our Women's Literature teacher, Mrs. Cordero acknowledges these issues, yet continues to assign a heavier workload and tighter/unrealistic deadlines.  She continues to give assignments with little to no guidance, often leaving many students confused and stressed, while offering almost no help in return. On the other hand, the class workload is comparable to AP/IB classes, as many of the students in her class will also agree. In order for change to happen, we would like to notify the Arcadia High School administrators about this ongoing problem, and to lessen the workload. Even though the school year is about to wrap up, change will not happen if we stay silent. These signatures will be forwarded to the Arcadia High School admins, and we hope to see a difference in our learning environment.
