Mercy For Animals
Jun 16, 2017
Thanks for supporting our petition urging Arby's to publicly adopt a comprehensive broiler chicken welfare policy! To have an even bigger impact for animals, please take the two actions below. Thank you!
1. Tweet @Arbys.
Recently, a metal bolt was discovered in an Arby’s’ sandwich. Send Arby’s the tweets below or write polite ones of your own. Be sure to include the linked image.
Option 1:
@Arbys has failed to prohibit animal cruelty, so I’m not surprised that a bolt was found in an @Arbys sandwich. pic.twitter.com/8BJSllcHKr
Option 2:
Bolts aren’t the worst thing about @Arbys sandwiches. @Arbys needs to publicly adopt a chicken welfare policy! pic.twitter.com/8BJSllcHKr
Option 3:
@Arbys, having bolts in your sandwiches is bad but failing to prohibit animal cruelty is even worse. pic.twitter.com/8BJSllcHKr
2. Tell the CEO of Arby’s to publicly adopt a broiler chicken welfare policy.
Leave a comment after all of CEO Paul Brown’s recent LinkedIn comments here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/brownpaulj/recent-activity/. When leaving your comments, tag Mr. Brown by typing in “@Paul Brown Arbys” and clicking on his name when it appears.
Please draft your own polite message and include any of the points below:
Arby's should do better for animals by publicly adopting a comprehensive broiler chicken welfare policy.
Tens of thousands of consumers have signed a Change.org petition urging Arby's to take a public stand on this important animal welfare issue, just as Burger King, Boston Market, Subway, Chipotle, Quiznos, and dozens of other leading chains already have.
Arby's claims it is committed to “the well-being of animals,” and it should live up to those words by prohibiting the worst forms of animal cruelty in its supply chain.
This Change.org petition has been signed by more than 83,000 people urging Arby’s to publicly prohibit animal cruelty in its supply chain: https://www.change.org/p/arby-s-ceo-paul-brown-arby-s-stop-supporting-chicken-torture
Consumers are being educated about Arby’s failure to publicly act on this important issue at http://Arbys.ChickenTorture.com.
Until Arby’s publicly adopts a comprehensive broiler chicken welfare policy, I will not eat at Arby’s and will urge my friends and family to do the same.
