Bryant University Dining Hall Concerns
The Issue
The food quality at Salmanson has been declining and prices have been going up. The higher prices do not reflect better food quality or consistency. The quality of the main food is inadequate with the prices. There is too much focus on having a different variety of different food every night that there are no consistent items that students can look forward too. Examples of this are that chicken patties are not always available, the make your own sandwich station is limited by the "special" of the day. Also some days the bacon is cooked well and other days it is either burnt to a crisp or soggy. The panini press has been broken for weeks and that further limits the selections and qualities. Overall, the quality of the food is genuinely unacceptable. Students no longer even feel safe eating the food and sometimes feel sick after. If price has increased for admission into Salmanson, it is expected that the quality of the food would increase as well, but that result is currently absent. We are asking for Bryant to truly listen to the people that make up Bryant: its students.
I ask you if you believe in this cause, to please sign this petition. I am hoping that our voice will be heard and we can start making a change. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
