Petition to Support Dr. Lisa Herring, Atlanta Public School Superintendent

We, the undersigned, strongly support the renewal of Dr. Lisa Herring's contract as the Atlanta Public School Superintendent. Dr. Herring has demonstrated outstanding leadership during the global pandemic, prioritizing the safety and well-being of students, faculty, and staff by making the difficult decision to shut down schools and go fully virtual. 

Furthermore, when schools reopened, Dr. Herring ensured that everyone wore masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Under her leadership, the district's graduation rate has significantly increased, which is a testament to her dedication and hard work. 

Despite her exemplary record, Dr. Herring is facing backlash from a group of individuals who prioritize profit over students' safety and well-being. We stand against this group and urge the district to renew Dr. Herring's contract.
