Dear Ridge Baseball Club Supporters,

I am outraged to have to share with you that on January 26th several property owners who own residential lots near the RBC Complex, filed a lawsuit against Ridge Baseball Club and Bernards Township seeking to invalidate our newly extended and amended lease of the Complex. We believe the claims in the lawsuit are without merit and, rest assured, that we plan to work with Bernards Township elected officials to fight this lawsuit for the benefit of all of our children who love playing baseball at the Complex.

PLEASE CLICK HERE TO SEE RBC's STATEMENT DENOUNCING THE LAWSUIT

As I say in our statement linked above which I hope you will read, I encourage all of you to (i) publicly denounce this lawsuit, (ii) support our Township Committee who has worked with us diligently and in good faith over the past year to extend and amend the lease and which will now also have to defend this lawsuit and fight for our children, and (iii) let the residents who filed this lawsuit know that their attempts to bully RBC and the Township in a way that will harm our children are not welcome in this community.

I would also like to take this opportunity to encourage all supporters to consider supporting RBC at our fundraiser scheduled for February 9th or by making a financial contribution to RBC. Now that we will be forced to defend this lawsuit, we need your support more than ever!

Thank you for your continued support as we continue to fight for the children of our community and the future of baseball is Basking Ridge.
