The Victorian government should fast track approvals for new onshore gas mining in Victoria to reduce state debt and address looming gas shortfalls.

Why import gas at great expense when the state has vast untapped gas fields?  Renewable energy will require gas firming in the short term if it is ever to be reliable and affordable.

If this petition receives a decent number of signatures I shall take it to my local MP and request action be taken.
