💙 Parents are at breaking point, and children with disabilities need urgent care. Mosman Council, approve David’s House 🏡 because respite care isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity! 🙏

💛 "Respite care isn’t just about rest—it’s about dignity, support, and knowing that we are not alone."

No parent should have to watch their child suffer without support. No carer should have to hit breaking point before getting help. But that’s exactly what’s happening—because there aren’t enough respite services for children with disabilities. 💜 

💙 As a mum to a child with epilepsy, autism, and an intellectual disability, I know this pain firsthand. The exhaustion. The burnout. The endless fight for care. Families like mine are drowning, and we have nowhere to turn.

 

🏡 That’s why I am creating David’s House — a safe, NDIS-funded respite home in Mosman, NSW. A place where children with disabilities are cared for with love, and parents get the break they desperately need.

🚨 But we need Mosman Council to approve it — without delays.

✅ David’s House meets ALL legal requirements under SEPP Housing 2021, which allows group homes in residential zones.
✅ Mosman’s own Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP 2022–26) promises to support families like ours—now it’s time to follow through.
✅ Every day without respite, more families reach crisis point.
