1st let me say WE NEED A CHANGE. As a African American , I can say this with every reassurance in my body that this would be such a game changer for us. As African Americans we don’t really have a flag to rep us, OUR ethnic group. It’s sad to see the younger generation claim other ethnicities because they can’t find any pride in being AA. Let’s solve that & by taking a big step and having a flag emoji for us. Considering that most of the youth is on their phones this would be great for the AA community and promote more pride among us and our youths! Not only that, we re a strong people with culture that deserves to be recognized by a flag that represents us !
