Parents are constantly invading their kid's privacy and it is NOT OKAY. There are apps where parents can secretly spy on their kids phones without their child knowing like the app Bark, Bark is where a parent can secretly go through your Snapchat messages your iPhone Messages (even the ones you delete) your videos your photos, and more. Bark is working on trying to even access your PRIVATE Snapchat photos. Teens and tweens would have no privacy, at the age that we are at we would want more privacy than ever because we are finding out who we are. My Mom constantly goes through my phone for no reason what so ever I even tried to ask her why she would do that and she would get mad at me. A few days later without me knowing she installed the app called Bark, I looked up what is monitors and I was sick to my stomach. Not because I was doing anything bad but because I have conversations with my friends that I am not ready to have with my Mom. I get that some parents want their teens and tweens to be safe but SECRETLY going through our private stuff is just going to lose there trust. Going through our phones should not be an option unless you absolutely think something is up. And if you do think something is going on just ask it's not that hard. If your child expresses to you that they are uncomfortable when you go through there phones then stop, it should not be normalized for parents to do that. There are other apps that are better that will keep your kid safe but at the same time won't invade their privacy like Ourpact and Netnanny. If you sign this petition then the app Bark will be taken down and parents will not try to ruin there trust with there child. Please sign this and go report the app so it can be taken down off of android and the apple store permanently. Thank you.
