La causa
Apple Pay ha sido una gran innovación para el mundo, ya que nos permite añadir nuestras tarjetas débito / crédito a Apple Wallet. Este servicio se a expandido con gran rapidez a diferentes países del mundo, en especial la región europea. Colombia ha sido uno de los países donde la bancarizacion ha tomado un rumbo muy fuerte, en especial en la pandemia del COVID-19. Los bancos han echo un esfuerzo para ofrecer servicios y productos para que el cliente minimice el contacto, por ejemplo el remplazo de las tarjetas débito Maestro a Mastercard Debit Contactless o Visa Electron a Visa Débito Contactless. Aunque esto productos son una gran solución, aún se expone al riesgo de portar con un plástico donde puede contaminarse muy fácil.
Una gran solución es Apple Pay, la cual daría la oportunidad de poder guardar nuestras tarjetas en el iPhone / Apple Watch. En Colombia hay muchos usuarios iPhone, de los cuales no tenemos todas las funciones que tienen en Europa y Estados Unidos, pero pagamos un valor más alto por esos dispositivos. La ocupación de Apple en el mercado de teléfonos móviles en Colombia es alta. En Colombia se encuentra la infraestructura necesaria para aceptar pagos con Apple Pay, ya muchos extranjeros y locales han echo pagos con Apple Pay en Colombia. No hay necesidad de actualizar los TPV, ya que la mayoría ya tienen la opción Contactless. Además, Colombia está expandiéndose a una era digital, la cual de la mano de Apple Pay, haría que los pagos por tarjetas cambie tanto en Colombia como en Latinoamérica.
Bancolombia recientemente habilitó apple Pay, pero en Colombia, junto a Davivienda, Rappi, Nu Bank, Tuya, se utiliza más el Apple Watch y otros relojes con Android. Colombia tiene mucho potencial para la implementación de Apple Pay y este ser su tercer país en Latinoamérica con este servicio. Yo personalmente utilizo Apple Pay en Colombia y me encanta. Nunca me han puesto problema para pagar tanto en restaurantes como almacenes y máquinas expendedoras de Novaventa. Somo muchos millennials Colombianos que deseamos este servicio de corazón. Señor/es Tim Cook, MinTic, Apple, Scotiabank Colpatria Colombia, por favor traigan e implementen este servicio a Colombia. Nuestro país también merece tener este servicio de Apple, como muchos de los que faltan como las direcciones en Apple Maps.

Apple Pay has been a great innovation for the world, allowing us to add our debit / credit cards to Apple Wallet. This service has expanded rapidly to different countries around the world, especially the European region. Colombia has been one of the countries where banking has taken a very strong course, especially in the COVID-19 pandemic. Banks have made an effort to offer services and products so that the clients minimizes contact, for example the replacement of Maestro debit cards to Contactless Mastercard Debit Cards or from Visa Electron to Contactless Visa Debit Cards. Although these products are a great solution, you still expose yourself to the risk of carrying with a plastic where it can easily become contaminated.
A great solution is Apple Pay, which would give the opportunity to save our cards on the iPhone / Apple Watch.
