For the first time in history an indigenous people are serving as the sovereign hosts of an international tournament.  The Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Confederacy is hosting the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Indoor Lacrosse Championships on the Onondaga Nation and Syracuse NY.

13 countries will compete in these historic games.  Lacrosse is coming home! 

The games are in September so this needs to happen fast!
