Recently there has been much debate surrounding representation in the Apple emoji keyboard function. This extends to hand gestures. The current emoji keyboard features 18 hand gestures including: thumbs up, thumbs down, perfectomundo, fist bump, solidarity fist, peace, and many more... Missing from this selection is, according to wikipedia, the universal symbol for "hang loose" - the Shaka.

If you have ever wanted to convey to the recipient of your message that everything is groovy, but the peace/fist bump/high-5 emojis just can't convey what the Shaka can, sign and share this petition.
