Many historians and many people adore the older operating systems such as Mac.

Unfortunately, these systems are not open source and if anyone who wanted to improve them or even create an operating system from those systems is stopped by the fact that they are all closed source. With this petition we want to ask Apple to open sourcing the Mac OS 8 released in '90 and all systems prior to this. The community could not only revive these systems, but it could also revive those Apple II and Mac that these days are obsolete. I therefore ask Apple inc. and Tim Cook to open source completely Mac OS 8 and all previous systems to it (System 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7). Thank you.
