Hello all, just wanted to keep you in the loop, after testing a beta release of iOS 14.4 I can confirm to you that we are now able to select what kind of device is connected via Bluetooth! It seems that thanks to the combined efforts of the feedback provided to apple, the community forums and all the folks in this petition we have been provided a reasonable solution!

Please note that this feature/option/solution will be made available to all in the next official iOS update!
