Purchased a MacBook Pro late 2013. It has been showing signs of screen anti reflective coating damage. They however refuse to repair the issue. The bigger problem is that APPLE does not even keep customers informed of a repair program instituted by them. This effects a lot of small businesses who have spent a lot of money on an apple MACBOOK PRO laptop for their high end graphics work. I spoke with apple support to MR. DINESH who very politely refused the repair. A link to the problem can be found at staingate.org. I believe that since APPLE charges a lot of money for their MacBook pro machines they should stand for their product reliability. Frankly i do not expect an APPLE product to fail for at least 10 years for the money they charge as i have been an APPLE product user for very long. If many of you have the same problem please join this petition so that APPLE will take cognizance of the problem. Moreover, they must keep customers informed of any apple repair programs or defect repair programs that they offer. If I was informed well in advance, as this problem was reported in 2014 I would have got my MacBook pro repaired under warranty. I just missed it. Don't miss it!!
