We're at 23,500 signatures, and Apple still hasn't responded. Apple was made aware of this petition, repeatedly, during the course of last week. The petition was emailed to the executive team, several members of their PR team, as well as to the Apple Customer Relations contact email: ac_customer_relations@apple.com I even spoke with someone at Apple Customer Relations who promised me she would pass this on to her manager, along with our request for a timely response to the petition. Apple's lack of response is quite telling.
