We all know that Apple is all about money. Well, they are the first trillion dollar company--but none of that happens without us. The consumers. Why would they removed the headphone jack in the first place? It wasn't broken. They claim innovation, but many people see it as just another headache. 3.5mm headphone jacks have been the standard forever and it wasn't broke so why try to fix it? With the removal of the headphone jack comes a need to now buy (and keep up with) another gimmick connector just to use your old headphones or use the silly looking headphones with the lightening connector attached at the end. You lost the ability to charge your phone and listen to music through headphones at the same time as well. Apple also claimed that bluetooth is the future and that was one of their reasons. While this maybe true, many devices already had/have bluetooth on them along WITH the headphone jack. Therefore it was never an issue of the jack being there. Apple claims that they wanted their phones to have a better seal for water resistance. Meanwhile many other phone manufacturers seem to provide great waterproof/resistant phones while not sacrificing the headphone jack. So what's the problem Apple? Do not tell us that no one uses it anymore. Do not try to force your $160 wireless EarPods on us. Not everyone wants those. Remember you DO NOT exist without the consumers. PLEASE START TO LISTEN TO WHAT WE WANT.
