As Audio and video really need high Ghrtz and intel released a 4.0-4.4 and apple will never have the ability to use in its current Mac Pro form.  Only in the ageless steel version.  Please read fully:

 

Dear Mr. Cook

 

Time for a game changer.  First and foremost. There is a reason I am telling you this and will explain at the end. So please, continue. 

 

             Knowing The Trends:

 

I knew that it was only a matter of time before the economy would be I shambles. I told my now wife, 10 years ago, one day, everything will be from overseas. Now it is and the exports vs imports are highly unbalanced and against us as we import more than we export, and seeing "Made In The USA", is difficult to find.  Our elders lived to their 80's, 90's year and to do the same, we must buy Organic only.  Our food has gone down in quality and to purchase without pesticides is much more expensive. 

 

As well, I said to an ex g/f while she was shaving her legs circa 1992, "You know, there should be a razor with a strip on it that when it gets wet, it creates a lubricant. She agreed and sure enough, it came to market. I also worked for a high end music house and sat in on 3 interviews. I liked only one interviewee however, the owners wife liked all 3. I explained  they were to much like car salesmen and their approach to music and the higher up, if they can even get them on the phone, won't fly with the music executives. One was caught saying he was a Music Supervisor thinking that would get more people on the phone, it did but was asked an elementary music question and had no answer, I heard the director say I was the only music supervisor and while true, it's not why I got a lot of projects, it was based on relationships and building new ones.    

 

 

 

Well in under 6 months,  the 2 I believed where good people but lacked the personality and terminology for their music placement positions, were gone. With 1 we had to change the locks. It was pretty bad. Meanwhile I took 1 of many libraries, (they had 45+ and growing), and did 2 things. 

 

1. I brought Sony/Sonic Foundry to the table and created 3 CDs that I turned into music sample CDs for other composers/musicians,foley and sound designers. For me it was very easy to edit, twist and mangle and could be used by many samplers as well as Garage Band & Acid. This, on the side project that took little work, (for myself anyway), it was one of the best, Sony had told us and brought in well over $1.5 million at a 10% royalty rate. It was fun, easy and simple to do.  

 

 

 

2. Taking this same hardly used library I created compilation CD's, taking the best of the best and renamed them (example), "Sonata with Piano In Bb" to "Holiday Winters Sleigh-Ride"-and it did very well. Especially that my ears allow me to see certain uses for the music creating titles that were accurate. fLastly, as there is a reason for telling you this. One company needed desperate help. I asked them,"What was wrong with the stores". One store had an inside set of stairs.  Yikes. In psychology, it is known that most people who see stairs, most that open a door and see stairs, feel if they go down, they have to, must, have no choice,  and have to buy something, they simply must, I suppose they did not know there is know "Must purchase stair law".

 

 

 

So I educated my clients and informed them of a low cost, solution which was to install small monitors the size of a large gps's on both railings, as well as create a place impulse product and a place to put down their beverage. They were a high end imported Coffee and Belgium Chocolate company (with 5 stores in trouble and continued), the monitors would allow the user to choose what video they want to see for example how white chocolate has no cacao beans or how if you rub a chocolate beans (cacao), it creates an oil that is used to create chocolate, continued no preservatives and surprisingly, while American chocolate can last, if you take most US products, shut your eyes and break pure milk chocolate in half and smell it, you will notice a somewhat, bad milk gone bad odor versus the Belgium that lasts just a few weeks. In addition show how coffee is roasted. That the coffee that seemingly has no taste or very light is NOT WEAK and that strong coffee DOES NOT CONTAIN HIGHER amounts of caffeine. It's actually the opposite in that  "The Lighter The Bean! the More Caffeine" and how common that people confuse strong tasting/dark roasting to higher caffeine content levels. We will also get 2 iMacs for customers with NO computers, create in store coupons, let customers use the iMacs for an hour(with purchase), install a large HD TV to play music videos and ads, getting the customers walking buy, to stop and see what's going on, create free outside give away's/samples. 

 

 

 

I could not believe they didn't have wifi offered as we had a router in the back and could have created a new secure channel tied in with customer loyalty cards. Last, for now, we'll can create cartoon feet either painted or flush molds that stick to the sidewalk going in, and down the stairs, think "Fred Flintstone".   I was given none of these tool- but promised it was coming if I would come on for a while. None of it ever happened so I left.  In less than a year, all 5 store went out of business. In addition, I created some holiday flyers on a $3500 HP COLOR LASER printer. 

 

Not knowing the silent partner was there, he loved my color flyers and disliked the one the director spent $550 of the companies money for 500 flyers. I spent .03 cents 

 

            WHAT APPLE SHOULD DO AS THE EDITING/AUDIO CRAZE IS COMING IN A BIG WAY. 

 

So I offer to you the following idea. 4k is coming. Please create affordable 4k monitors with discount if you buy FCP or 2 monitors as the networks will soon be gone and most entertainment will be online creating a strong demand for FCP Editors. I said this about music, years before it happened.  As well, please make the new Mac Pro with the i7 & i5 chips that way you can bring back the older, timeless, steel/aluminum version for the Xeon or whatever the fastest chip is, for the pros.  Apple has failed at using the GPU for Audio and the new Mac Pro cost more but performs less, is limited to 135 watts, that wall would be gone as Intel has new chips at 4.0 stock and can turbo to 4.4 and are unlocked for PC users. Please. I do not want to see apple once again behind in CPU/FPU performance.   

 

PLEASE BRINK BACK the steel/aluminum for the pro's and newer model as a shell for Pro-sumers. It was built like a tank and can tell you the new Mac Pro will not. Look at the first iMac. Is that around. Or the Mac PPC? Nope. Only the design of the metal showed the world it was a timeless piece of art and will never die.  The form factor is legendary.  Perhaps Apple Red copper and Steel? Anything so we can use the fastest CPUs.  And manufactures such as AJA would not have to spend so much, while hurting the environment, and would offer much higher expand ability. Hard drives.  PCIe slots. 8 Thunderbolt 2 port.  A machine for the video, photographer and audio engineer/artist.  No more limits due to heat or wattage.
