Residing in Rivington Walk has been a mix of pride and challenge, especially regarding our current parking situation. As residents, my family and I—as well as many others—have faced the turmoil of limited parking options and the unfortunate reality of having our vehicles towed multiple times. These unexpected towing fees often run into hundreds of dollars, placing an unnecessary financial burden on us all.

The current parking policy, which seems more punitive than practical, fails to consider the needs and realities of modern families. We understand that maintaining order is necessary, but the lack of sufficient parking spaces and strict towing practices penalize residents more than they protect them. Everyone deserves a reasonable and reliable place to park their vehicle without the constant stress and financial worry of towing.

We're calling on the Rivington Walk Homeowners Association to take immediate action to develop fairer, more effective parking solutions that accommodate the needs of all residents. It may include increasing the number of available parking spaces, implementing a permit system that prioritizes residents, or creating designated parking spots based on household needs.
