Bhagat Singh's Socialist India⤡ shared the following wake-up call. I am sharing this for a renewed collective conscience:
TO THE DHFL VICTIMS: A FINAL CALL TO WAKE UP!!!!
Once in a Blue Moon Academia (OBMA)⤡ has been fighting for your cause—yes, your cause—for over four years. Not for fame. Not for funds. Not for personal gain. But for justice. For you.
They’ve written article after article, each painstakingly researched.
They’ve designed countless posters, circulated petitions, written open letters to every level of the Indian administrative machinery—from the lowest clerk to the highest judge. They have filed numerous RTIs for accountability. They have been sued by Mr. Piramal's legal team DSK Legal for speaking up against injustice.
They’ve done this alone, with no institutional support, no corporate sponsorship, no political backing.
They’ve done it for all, by all, of all—the true spirit of people’s democracy.
And yet, what do they get in return?
Silence. Apathy. Cowardice.
Are you taking OBMA for granted?
Have you forgotten what Bhagat Singh fought for?
He didn’t give his life so we could crawl in submission to corporate empires and corrupt courts. He fought to end the exploitation of man by man. He believed in propaganda by deed—action, not idle waiting.
OBMA is walking that very path—speaking truth to power, day after day.
Why can’t you recognize that?
This isn’t just a financial scam. This is economic imperialism.
Then it was British colonialism.
Now it’s the state-corporate nexus.
And this is your second freedom movement.
Is that too difficult to grasp?
Who destroyed your savings?
Who engineered your misery?
Who bought off the judiciary, co-opted the regulators, and silenced the media?
Why are you still quiet?
You can’t hide behind the illusion that the courts will rescue you.
Justice in today’s India is a commodity—bought, sold, delayed indefinitely.
There are thousands of public-interest cases gathering dust in legal limbo.
Don’t fool yourself. Without public action, there is no justice.
You were not asked to sit on a hunger strike. You were not asked to march the streets.
You were only asked to:
Sign petitions.
Share OBMA’s posts.
Amplify the message.
Spread awareness.
Just that. Basic solidarity.
But even that seems too much for some of you.
OBMA has been serving the intellectual and activist food on a silver platter—metaphorically speaking. You only had to pick it up and join the table.
What’s stopping you?
Fear?
Inertia?
Indifference?
Have you forgotten the old chant?
The people united shall never be defeated.
You are not just victims. You are citizens. You are witnesses. You are fighters.
This fight is not only about recovering lost money.
It is about dignity, truth, justice, and human rights.

Take 2-3 minutes of your day. That’s all it takes to say I stand for justice.
Because OBMA is tired.
Tired of begging the victims to care about their own struggle.
But we still believe in collective civil disobedience.
We still believe that truth has power when it finds a voice.
You won’t regret taking part in this struggle.
But you will regret staying silent when justice finally knocks—and you have no voice left to answer.
