Below is update of telephone enquiry with MBJB office:
Just manage to get hold of an officer in MBJB by phone, to ask about document proof that we need to provide during the session. As I understand the session is private, all sessions are arranged from 6-9th November, each individual goes into the room for 15-20min talk to convince the officer to lower the valuation. So session time on the letter I posted just now might not the same for everyone.
the lady said we can show valuation report by private company on our property as a proof. I've asked if we can show either (1) recent purchase price of our neighbor's property of similar size, or (2) mbjb valuation of neighbor's property of similar size. Answers to both are "Yes".
